Thymosin Alpha-1

Updated April 28, 2026

Primary Benefits:

  • Boosts immune system function by modulating T-cell activity
  • Fights viral infections (e.g., hepatitis, influenza, HPV)
  • Reduces systemic inflammation
  • Supports immune surveillance and anticancer immunity
  • May enhance vaccine efficacy and immune memory

Mechanism of Action:
Thymosin Alpha-1 is a naturally occurring thymic peptide that plays a key role in immune system regulation. It promotes T-cell differentiation and enhances the function of dendritic cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and cytotoxic T lymphocytes. This action strengthens the body’s innate and adaptive immune responses, making it valuable for chronic infections, inflammatory conditions, and immune surveillance.

Dosing & Protocol
Subcutaneous (SQ) Injection:

  • Reconstitution:
2 mg vial → 1.0 ml bacteriostatic water
     (= 20 mcg per unit)

5 mg vial → 2.5 ml bacteriostatic water
 (= 20 mcg per unit)

  • Dose Options:
    • 400 mcg daily (20 units)
     • OR 1.5 mg twice weekly (75 units)
     • Same unit counts apply for both 2 mg and 5 mg vials when reconstituted as above
  • Cycle:
     • Continue for 1–3 weeks
     • Using 2 mg vials: 2–5 vials typically required per cycle depending on length and dosing strategy
     • Using 5 mg vials: 1–2 vials typically required per cycle depending on length and dosing strategy
  • Timing:
Based on personal preference; morning dose preferred by some for immune support

Potential Side Effects:

  • Mild redness or irritation at injection site
  • Temporary fatigue or flu-like symptoms (rare)
  • Generally well tolerated with low toxicity profile
  • May interact with immunosuppressive therapies — consult a physician if on medications

Common Stacks:

  • With LL-37: For enhanced antimicrobial and immune support
  • With BPC-157 + TB-500: For recovery after illness, injury, or surgery
  • With DSIP: For deeper, higher-quality sleep, one of the strongest levers for immune function
  • With MOTS-c or 5-Amino-1MQ: For mitochondrial resilience and metabolic support during immune challenges

Notes:

  • Inject into the lower abdomen or fat-rich area using an insulin syringe.
  • Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation.
  • Store reconstituted solution in the refrigerator and use within 45 days unless the product label or protocol says otherwise.
  • For twice-weekly use, space doses 3–4 days apart.
