About MT-2 (Melanotan 2 Acetate)
MT-2 (Melanotan II) is a synthetic peptide that mimics the effects of a naturally occurring hormone in the body called alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). MT-2 is primarily known for its ability to stimulate the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. This makes it popular for tanning purposes. Additionally, MT-2 has been studied for its potential effects on sexual function and appetite control, though these uses are less common and come with varying levels of efficacy and safety.
