Pinealon

Updated May 29, 2026

Primary Benefits

  • Supports brain and nervous-system health
  • Improves cognitive clarity and mental resilience in neuroprotection research
  • Helps regulate oxidative stress in neuronal models
  • Supports circadian rhythm and sleep-quality pathways
  • Commonly used for brain aging, focus, and nervous-system recovery research

Mechanism of Action

Pinealon is a tripeptide bioregulator with the sequence Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR). It is associated with brain and nervous-system research and has been studied for antioxidant, neuroprotective, and gene-expression regulatory effects. In cell models, Pinealon reduces reactive oxygen species accumulation and helps protect cells exposed to oxidative stress. Molecular and epigenetic studies also suggest that EDR can interact with DNA regions related to antioxidant defense, neuronal differentiation, apoptosis regulation, and synaptic plasticity, which helps explain its use in brain aging and neuroprotection protocols.

Dosing & Protocol

Subcutaneous (SQ) Injection (preferred)

Reconstitution:

-10 mg vial → 2.0 ml bacteriostatic water

Daily Dose:

-500 mcg–1 mg (10–20 units)

Cycle:

-Daily for 10–20 days; repeat 1–3 times yearly as needed or as directed by your healthcare provider

Timing:

-Morning or early afternoon

Potential Side Effects

  • Injection-site redness, tenderness, itching, or mild swelling
  • Headache, fatigue, lightheadedness, or mild nausea
  • Temporary changes in sleep quality, dream intensity, or alertness
  • Mood changes, irritability, or restlessness in sensitive individuals
  • Rare: allergic reaction or worsening neurological symptoms; discontinue and seek medical guidance

If side effects occur, users commonly reduce dose or discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Common Stacks

  • With Epitalon: For circadian rhythm, healthy-aging, and pineal-support protocols
  • With DSIP: For nighttime recovery and sleep-quality support
  • With Semax: For focus, learning, and neuroprotective research
  • With Selank: For stress resilience, emotional balance, and nervous-system calming

Notes

  • Injection is subcutaneous into the lower abdomen or another standard SQ site (such as the outer thigh or upper buttock).
  • Pinealon is a bioregulator peptide with most research coming from cell, animal, and limited clinical-adjacent literature.
  • Use earlier in the day when first assessing response, especially if sleep becomes more active or vivid.
  • Lyophilized (dry) Pinealon vials should be stored in the freezer.
  • After reconstitution, store in the refrigerator and use within 45 days unless the product label or protocol says otherwise.
  • Individuals with active neurological disease, psychiatric instability, or complex medication regimens should consult a healthcare professional before use.
