Mazdutide

Updated April 28, 2026

Primary Benefits:

  • Promotes sustainable weight loss through appetite suppression
  • Improves blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity
  • Enhances cardiovascular and metabolic health
  • Convenient once-weekly administration

Mechanism of Action:
Mazdutide is a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics the action of endogenous glucagon-like peptide-1. It helps reduce appetite, delay gastric emptying, and enhance insulin secretion in response to meals. These combined effects support weight reduction, improved glycemic control, and metabolic optimization.

Dosing & Protocol

Subcutaneous (SQ) Injection using a 30-31 gauge 6-8mm insulin syringe (1ml)

  • Reconstitution:
    • 5 mg vial → 2.0 ml bacteriostatic water
    • 10 mg vial → 2.0 ml bacteriostatic water
  • Weekly Dose:
    • 5 mg vial → 2 mg (80 Units)
    • 10 mg vial → 2 mg (40 Units)
    • Start at 2 mg once per week for 4 weeks
    • Then increase incrementally by 0.5-1mg per week, if needed
    • Do not exceed 4 mg per week
  • Cycle:
    • Once weekly (e.g., every Monday)
    • Long-term use permissible based on goals and tolerance
    • Periodic reassessment recommended
  • Timing:
  • Based on personal preference; administer the same day each week to maintain consistent blood levels

Potential Side Effects:

  • Nausea or gastrointestinal discomfort (usually subsides after a few doses)
  • Mild injection site irritation
  • Possible hypoglycemia if combined with other glucose-lowering agents
  • Appetite suppression may lead to inadequate caloric intake if not monitored

Common Stacks:

  • With AOD-9604 or 5-Amino-1MQ: Enhanced fat-burning support
  • With MOTS-C: Improved mitochondrial energy output and metabolic synergy
  • With CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin: For muscle-sparing body recomposition during weight loss

Notes:
Inject subcutaneously into the fatty tissue of the abdomen. Rotate injection sites weekly to prevent irritation. Begin with lower dosing to assess tolerance, especially if combining with other metabolic peptides. Do not exceed the maximum weekly dose. Store reconstituted vials in the refrigerator and use within 45 days unless the product label or protocol says otherwise.
