  4. 4Pinch and lift the skin where you'll inject.
  5. 5Push the needle in at 45° — slow and steady.
  6. 6Press gently with an alcohol pad for 30 seconds.
  7. 7Drop the syringe in your sharps container.

A few quick notes.

  • Miss a dose? Resume at the next scheduled time. Don't double up.
  • Stay hydrated, keep moving, sleep well.
  • Mild side effects can include a small bruise, redness or itch at the site, occasional nausea or fatigue. Normal.
  • Stop and call a doctor if you see spreading redness/warmth, severe swelling, fever, pus, red streaks, or signs of allergy (hives, facial swelling, trouble breathing).
  • Do not use peptides if pregnant or breastfeeding.
